We are open for Thanksgiving week except Thursday we will be closed for Thanksgiving Day. We have plenty of Uglies today so come on in!

We are now hiring for our 2019 season! Late March through November for those wanting full season employment... June through August for summer hires...especially University students from the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Russia, Turkey and other countries. We also need foreign students available March through May and September through November for our shoulder seasons. We are hiring reliable, hard working staff who like to have fun while making money creating delicious breakfast items for our awesome clients. It helps if you like the beach and water sports! 1045 am and we still have a full tray of Uglies...we’ll be around until about noon cleaning up if you want some! We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween last night. We had a monarch butterfly and fairy who got plenty of candy.

Starting this week we will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week. We don’t have enough staff this time of year to be open every day. Speaking of which, we still need help in the kitchen and front sales counter if you know anyone reliable who wants a job... Happy Halloween week from the Blossom gang!!!

We are still open 7 days a week from 630 am to 11 am, hopefully through Thanksgiving. And we still need kitchen help on the sandwich bar and 2nd shift bake (430 am to 11 am). Almost 80 degrees again today. Beautiful time of year on Hatteras Island.

10 am and we have plenty of Apple Uglies and donuts left. Come on in and head to Lighthouse Beach afterwards - another beautiful 80 degree day here in Buxton!

One year-old Bracy learns to love chocolate at the Blossom today. An empty Double Dip tray liner covered in chocolate drippings is a great training tool...

We are open 7 days a week 630 am to 11 am through Thanksgiving so come on out to Buxton for our great food, beaches, watersports, lodging and everything else Hatteras Island has to offer! Hurricane Florence and Dare County’s 7 day closure of Hatteras Island hurt our business income but we’re seeing daily increases as everyone makes their way back. Hatteras Island had little damage so we’re good to go. Roads and dunes are fine now so come on out! We’re praying for our friends south of us who didn’t fare as well - lots of people coming together to help them as usual here in America.

We reopen Monday at 630 am! Fresh Uglies!

My Mom, aka Miss Carolyn, with Turkish student employees in 2012. Sent to us today by Ömercan, aka John. He’s now an Electrical Engineer in Turkey and says he misses the days at the Blossom and Lighthouse Beach.

We closed for the storm on Tuesday due to Dare County doing a mandatory evacuation of Hatteras Island. We hope to reopen the day Dare County allows people back on the island. Pray it misses us and doesn’t hurt any people.

Happy Labor Day weekend at the Blossom!!! Rockn’ today with a deluxe version of the Myers Rum Raisin Cinnamon roll (Myers drizzled over the top after icing them) and lots of Apple Uglies, Double Dips, and everything else. Love you all and sea you at our beautiful Buxton lighthouse beach later today...
